How many
hours do you
work each day?
At the peak period of building Foxdale Court, for at least six
months the entire team was working 7 days a week. We could
commence work at 7hrs in the morning for roll call, at which I was
always present. The building team would knock off at 17:30hrs from
Monday – Saturday and at 15hrs on Sunday. I would stay in the office on
average until 7pm, each day, but on many days until 10pm, or into the
early hours of the morning to ensure I was on top of e-mails, as during
the day the work was very operational and on the ground liaising
with suppliers and coordinating the building team to optimize on
operations. Currently I get into the office before 8am, and work
until around 6-7pm. I work on several weekends too, but I
make sure I get some sport done during the week or over the
weekend to keep active, which is generally a 15-20 minute
run first thing in the morning, and I go horse
riding over the weekend. I sometimes ride
my bicycle to work.
