ometimes I feel I have lived in a previous era. A
number of previous collections have been inspired
by the 1960s. Kutowa’s Ka Girlo collection of 2014
had the flirtatious 60s energy of Marilyn Monroe.
However, Ba Donna, Kutowa’s latest collection, is
first and then I work on the designs. Ba Donna was
1950s, feminine, classy, sure and confident yet slightly
reserved without brashness. For me the person who
embodied this energy was Audrey Hepburn.
