There aren’t any giraffes in that region, so if I were to smuggle one, I suppose the first problem would be how to kidnap it from the zoo! I’m still in between Zambia and London Does the place you live in influence your art? 48 49 Yes and no – some commissions are strictly set, so it really doesn’t matter where I am when I have to do them. For most though, I have the liberty of deciding what to do myself – so I guess yes it does. I use a lot of raw materials in Zambia as its readily available – most in my back yard! But the artworld abroad is so extensive, its almost impossible for my surroundings to not influence me.
