INCREASE YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH DA REVIEWERS The Reason for Reviews by Author Co Kane Being an author can become tiresome when you don’t receive the recognition that you think you deserve. Whether it is from the literary industry as a whole, or from your customers through reviews, word of mouth through reviews always bring about new customers. Whatever the industry or line of work, reviews boost promo, and that in turn produces more sales. The 10 main reasons for review are simple: they break down why reviews are important for an author’s longterm goals in the industry. Reason #1: Friends don’t let friends read bad books. Writing and sharing book reviews is a community service to all of your reading buddies. Everyone wants to know about the next best book and NO ONE wants to waste their time with a badly written and horrible plot book. Help a book brother and sister out and write that review! Reason #2: Aspiring authors should always write reviews, hence readers becoming authors. The late Stephon King encouraged everyone to read as much as they could and I agree! But let’s take it a step further; lets read critically, and figure out what makes the book great or terrible and provide REVUES GALORE© blurb might not have or a customer might not mention to others. Reason #4: Over 85% of all Amazon Kindle readers rely heavily on book reviews before choosing to purchase your book. An honest review helps other readers determine if the book is for them. Honest reviews may seem as if they're not supportive but their purpose is for the author to use those recommendations for next book, if need be. Reason #5: Your review helps customers with the same tastes discover a new book and/or new author, and you help the author by providing valuable feedback. Reason #6: A thorough review points out other aspects of the book, some good and some need improvement, that the marketing Reason #10: More reviews get authors exposed to other book review teams, increases readership, puts blogging communities on alert, and makes you more appealable to book clubs. More reviews equal more sales for authors and more informed readers. It doesn’t take much to write a few lines about a book you read and even less time to “like” a review.
