Revive - A Quarterly Fly Fishing Journal | Page 2

Sometimes you just have to know when to stop casting. There are a few moments when as fly fishermen and women we realize that the best use of the time that could be used for just one more cast, is to sit on the ledge above that next run and breathe, listening to the flow of the perpetual grace that is water pouring over rocks. As the spring season approaches and arrives there are so many chances for incredible days on the water with friends and family and it is so easy to obsess over the opportunities as hatches pour off and fish heads poke through the foam. It is going to be our goal to sit back, breathe in, and relax as the crisp spring air raises our spirits after a long winter solstice, as we learn to appreciate the beginning and the end of each day, and each season.
