Revive - A Quarterly Fly Fishing Journal | Page 2

The time of year that reminds me most of my love of the outdoors is Fall. This sentiment has never held more true than now that our home is in the PACNW. As the leaves change and the aspens turn yellow, the mindset turns from long hot days to shorter crisper gray afternoons. Experiencing the flavor of fall where the transition of seasons is truly drastic leads us to change our mindset to streamers, steelhead, migratory fish, all the things that our heart longs for. Oregon has become the setting for our fall season this year and the people, places, and fish that are available at this time of year are nothing short of amazing. In this spirit, we want to dedicate this issue to the awesomeness that is Oregon. The state is full of passionate and talented outdoorsmen and women and we have had the opportunity to get to know many of them and experience the special places

this state hides.

So sit back with a hot cup of coffee or a delicious stout beer, as the days are still just nice enough to get out and the nights beg for a campfire. Let us show you the talent of Oregon-based photographers and writers, the beauty of the Deschutes, and the plethora of amazing fish our new home hosts.
