We don’t normally like to force our opinions on others but might we just inform you that it is a fact that we are entering the greatest season and time of the year? If you don’t agree well then...in the words of Bobby Boucher "No Colonel Sanders, You're wrong". Football season, game birds in the air, streamers creeping on to the vices of many a tier, leaves turning and falling, and mornings that see the temperatures go into that range where a cup of coffee and a light jacket make for welcome relief. Sure summer is a great time of year when float trips and flip flops break the spell of snow shovels and frigid nights but soon the heat becomes oppressive and even the most diehard Sun Bums are in need of a cool breeze and some fresh air. The seasons give us the opportunity to look forward to the dance of nature as she constantly recomposes herself into something magical and new by design. Perhaps it is our nature that always wants something different, only what is just beyond our grasp and in this sense, the outdoors is our perfect remedy. So as the transition starts at different places around the country and the world, take the time to get out and enjoy it, for quickly it will be gone and the winter time embrace of the ol’ man will come swiftly, leading us all to long for the next season.
