The new academic year starts this month
and KT Students Ministry would like to take
the opportunity to welcome back all of our
returning university students, as well as those of
you who are new to higher education this year!
Starting university can bring about an emotional
roller-coaster. From the excitement of all these
new places and meeting new people, to the
challenge of handing in your assignment before
the deadline, to the homesick feeling you didn’t
expect – it can quickly become overwhelming.
But it doesn’t have to!
Our KTSM community is dedicated to providing
our students a platform to engage and connect
with other from all universities across London,
with various backgrounds and majors. Here
you’ll meet and make new friends and we’ll find
ways we can support you through your time as
a student. Working together, we aim to enhance
the university experience and inspire a lifetime
of learning.
We organise regular socials to get to know
each other and have a good time together. This
is why we encourage you to bring along your
friends and colleagues from university, so they
can benefit from it too!
While we have fun, we believe that you
will enjoy great company and together we
will be equipped to represent Christ in the
academic sphere.

academic experience:
Mike in his first year
Being a freshman in university and new to
England, one of my challenges was finding a
place where I could express myself without the
fear of being misunderstood. I had to find a group
of young adults who have similar Christian goals,
and were ready to freely share their experiences
and thoughts with everyone.
Participating regularly in KTSM for the past
two years, I’ve learned a lot from the weekly
topics we discuss, especially those concerning our
relationship with God and others. I have learned
that a group of young people can grow together
while having fun in the body of Christ.
We are all thrilled and looking forward to having
you join us this year! If you’re a higher education
student, aged 18-25, join us every Thursday
from 7pm in KT Executive Room.
