ANNOUNCING EXCITING,
NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH
FORMISSION COLLEGE
As part of our commitment to providing you
Christian education with great opportunities we
are excited to announce a new partnership. From
September 2017, we are partnering with ForMission
College, to offer the honours degree Bachelor of
Arts in Theology and Mission (Validated by York
of St John University).
Who is ForMission and why are we
partnering with them?
As the name suggests, ForMission College exists
for the purpose of preparing Christian leaders to
transform their communities for Jesus. This vision is
closely aligned to what we are already doing through
IBIOL, but opens up the opportunities for a full
degree. More can be discovered at formission.org.uk.
How do I get my degree?
This new relationship allows all graduates with
the Diploma of Christian Ministries or higher (since
July 2013 – the NCFE era) to enter directly to the
second year of the ForMission degree. You can either
finish after the second year with a foundation degree,
or progress through two years to gain the honours
degree. The program is 1 day of lectures per week
during term time, so it’s possible to work full time.
The degree program also allows you to access
student finance for the second and third year,
to help with affordability.
IBIOL students take the gospel message onto the streets
If there are enough students, we will be able to
set up a hub at KT Summit House, Hanger Lane,
or alternatively ForMission have a hub at City Temple
in Holborn Viaduct. Either way, it’s accessible here
in London and, indeed, there are other venues
across the country, giving you a range of options.

intake, so you’ll have to get the application
process started soon. ❖
