0-13 kids ministry Andrew Anyanwu Children’s Leader god is able G od is amazing and is able to do amazing things, he can truly turn a frown upside down, and make an impossible situation turn out well. How? Because God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let’s take a look at these two amazing testimonies which show God is able. My name is Olakunle. I am 16 years old and have just finished Holland Park Secondary School. I have been at KT Children’s ministry since the age of 9 in Capital Kids and I’ve gone through CTFW and I’m currently at NuGen in Uncle Femi’s cell (Making it 7 years in all). During my time as a Christian I have encountered many challenges and difficulties in life that has negatively affected my walk with Christ. In my life there have been many temptations and distractions that have taken my focus away from God and weakened my relationship with him. As I have been getting older, I found myself praying only when my mum and dad told me, hanging out with the wrong friends and focusing my attention on unimportant things such as my physical appearance and designer clothing. After having a very intimate discussion with a strong older role model in the church about my walk in Christ I felt encouraged and inspired. I got home and made a decision to re-commit my life to God. The effects have meant me spending more time with God and changing my lifestyle to honour God and be an inspiration to others age. The encouraging word and support that I received, connected to the firm foundations that have been built in me both at home and especially in the children’s ministry, without those foundations it would not have been as easy. After that conversation I decided to not turn back to old ways but to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. The author and finisher of my faith! 9 year old Desireee is in Aunty Ruby and Adeola’s cell She asked us to pray for her little brother with autism. She told us her mum was finding it difficult to find a place for him in a nursery and asked us to pray that he’d get a place in one. She also asked us to pray that he’d start speaking. A child in our cell Kids Net August dates every Sunday We have a full children’s program running alongside our 9am, 11am, 2.30pm & 6pm services every Sunday. 32 Revival Times August 2017 Sunday 9:00am 11:00am 2:30pm 6:00pm 0-2 years KT Crèche KT Crèche KT Crèche KT Crèche with parents Kids Net Gathering No events in August 3-4 years VIP room VIP room KT Crèche KT Crèche with parents volunteered to pray for him. Two weeks later, she came to cell saying, “I’ve got a testimony! I’ve got a testimony!”.As she started telling us she could remember how long ago we had prayed for her brother and also the name of who had prayed for him! She told us not only had her mum found a place for him in a nursery but that he had also been doing well there. She went on to say that the teachers had said he’s interacting with other children and smiling. I asked her if she could see any difference in her brother to which she replied that at home he’s not watching TV all the time anymore, he’s interacting more with her and the family. Although he had not yet started speaking Desiree thanked God for what God had done already and showed excitement for the blessings that are to come in the life of her brother. God is able to do amazing things, and in the children’s ministry we aim for every cell to not only come to the knowledge of God, but we aim for them to have real, active relationships with the living God. It is through our relationship with him where we truly find out that he is able to do the impossible and that’s why we want every child to know personally for themselves that they can do all things through Christ that strengthens them.
