Not About the Bikes

The island of Sicily has received almost 200,000 refugees in the last 5 years — 130,000 of those in the last 2 — not counting many who died while crossing the sea . Most have come from Muslim majority countries where the Gospel cannot be openly shared . Too many have never had the opportunity to hear the true Gospel of Jesus Christ . This is why my wife and I serve in Sicily .
We not only strive to share the Gospel among these people who have left their homes and communities , but we also want to make disciples who will form new communities as the body of Christ and , in turn , make more disciples . We use simple , reproducible methods to share the Gospel , disciple believers , and invite them to join in expanding God ’ s kingdom on earth as disciple-makers .
