core values of respect, responsibility and honesty put into effect in real-life situations. To me, our Caminatas have become the perfect metaphor for a Los Nogales education: a thoughtful mix of hard work, commitment, love, joy and service. After a year in which the future of outdoor education in Colombia was called into question and fell under great public scrutiny, I am happy to report that the Caminatas program at Los Nogales is stronger than ever. In the last year we extended the program for all preschool students to include an overnight experience on campus utilizing Zasqua and our incredible installations. We redesigned and implemented a new hike for 7th grade to the Ama- 11 zon, and will be releasing a video of this new program in the coming days. For 2015/2016, we have organized a new 4th grade trip to Santander, and will be formally incorporating the 11th grade excursion into the Caminatas program. In addition, we will offer two new hikes, one for parents in the first semester, and the second for families in the following semester. Alumni, stand by! In conclusion, please enjoy the images and words captured on the following pages. And, thank you for your past and ongoing support and belief in this important program ◉ Ian Crossland Head of School
