THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

The Theory of Everything is a romantic film and realistic drama based on the biography of Stephen Hawking. It’s a film version of Jane Wilde Hawking book, Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen. It stars Eddie Redmayne, who stars in Fantastic Beasts and The Danish girl, as the main character.

The film starts with a young Stephen, who is a cosmology student, going with his friend to an university party where he will meet Jane Wilde, a Spanish poetry student. They fell in love and all was alright until Stephen suffers an accident. He was diagnosed with ELA and was told he only had two years left of life. Despite the terrible situation of Stephen, Jane decided to spend every possible time with him.

I really liked the film’s plot although I’m not very keen on romantic films and, from my point of view, the actors had an excellent performance, in fact, Eddie Redmayne was given the Best Actor Oscar for this movie. I didn’t find any bad point about the film, I thought it would be another colourless romantic film which got me bored after half an hour, but I was wrong.

I strongly recommend watching that film if you like romantic and drama films, you are emphatic, and you find stunning those films that arouse your emotions and move you to tears.
