MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN

Miss Peregrine’s home for Peculiar Children is a fantasy book written by Ransom Riggs. There are seven main characters: Jacob Portman, Miss Alma Lefay Peregrine, Emma Bloom, Olive, Millard Nullings, Hugh Apiston and Claire. It is about a huge house with many children who have fantastic and peculiar skills.

As a child, Jacob had a special relation with his grandfather, who told him strange stories and showed him photographs of levitating girls and invisible children. When Jacob is sixteen, he suffers the death of his grandfather, and a mysterious letter falls into his hands. Jacob will travel to the island of Wales, where he will find out if the stories his grandfather told him are real.

The good aspect of the book is that it is very entertaining and full of imagination. However, a bad point is that it is quite long

I think it is an easy book to read and I recommend it because it is fun for people of all ages.

TUERTO, MALDITO Y ENAMORADO

Tuerto, maldito y enamorado is a mystery and a romantic book written by Rosa Huertas. The main characters are Elisa and the ghost.

Elisa is studying the first course of Bachillerato, her life changed when she had to help her sister Carmen with some literature homework. In the library of her high school, there was a ghost, and when Elisa looked for information to do her homework, she found the ghost who asked her for help to remember his name and the name of his beloved.

The book is amazing and it is easy to read. Something negative is the title of the book and also the front page, it is horrible, they don’t appeal you at all.

In my opinion everybody should read this book, at least once. I recommend reading it.
