Despite the pandemic restrictions , students at IESO Alconétar have celebrated International Women ' s day in a very special way . They have honored their local women , their mothers , grandmothers , aunties and friends who have fought for their rights and have shown courage in various fields so that they have more opportunities in education , career choice , politics or being a working mother .
They have done it making the following video and using English as the language of communication . A short introduction about the history of this remarkable day and its importance has been included at the beginning of the video to continue with pictures of the student ´ s most important women in their lives and a brief description of them and why they have had a great impact on our students ´ lives .
