necessidade eventual de reconstrução ligamentar 15 , 17 , que acabou por não se justificar , procedendo-se a excisão limitada dos corpos livres e sinovial inflamada .
Conclusão
A síndrome do seio do tarso é ainda uma designação muito abrangente e que deve ser usada com cautela . Apurar a causa ou causas específicas da dor e instabilidade na região do seio do tarso para atuar em conformidade parece ser essencial para o sucesso da terapêutica . Existindo insucesso no tratamento conservador , a terapêutica cirúrgica é uma opção , não existindo aparentemente vantagem de qualquer técnica cirúrgica sobre outra . Considerando a multifatoridade de causas , a terapêutica mais adequada pode obrigar simultaneamente a intervenções noutras estruturas vizinhas , nomeadamente nas instabilidades crónicas do tornozelo .
