profundo . A neuropatia tibial foi associada a traumatismos severos , acompanhados por fratura da tíbia ou luxação do joelho . A existência de quistos de Baker foi também relacionada com a compressão do nervo tibial . A clínica está relacionada com o nível da lesão , caraterizando-se mais frequentemente pela fraqueza muscular na flexão plantar e pela alteração da sensibilidade plantar .
Para testar este músculo deve resistir-se o movimento de flexão plantar do atleta de acordo com a figura 7 . Um método alternativo consiste em pedir ao doente que , em posição ortostática , se eleve nas pontas dos pés , sendo neste caso a resistência ao movimento efetuada pelo peso do corpo ( fig . 6 ).
