Alexandra
Originally from Virginia Beach, Alicia Mitchell moved to Atlanta
in 2007 for school and graduated from American InterContinental
University with a B.A. in Fashion Marketing. She spends her day as
a marketing analyst at Hyundai Capital America and her evenings
exploring the city with friends.
Alexandra Acosta is an associate project manager in corporate event
production and a Rodan+Fields Skincare Consultant. She works full-time
with clients to help plan and execute corporate events. In her free time,
she leads and motivates a team of women running their own businesses,
while also helping customers tackle their skin concerns. When she’s not
working, you can find her doing anything outdoors, checking out the
newest local restaurant, taking a fitness class, online shopping or in the
kitchen practicing to become the self-acclaimed “Next Top Chef.” The
things she loves most in life are her amazing family, boyfriend, friends,
God, exercise, music, motivational quotes/ books, fall weather and sweets.
She is someone with a big- heart and sense of humor, who is sarcastic,
loving and very hard working. She works each day to become the best
version of herself in her personal and professional life, and she hopes to
continue living a life where she can help others do the same.
Hobbies include shopping for vintage and antique home
furnishings, visiting wineries and tea houses, making floral
crowns, and hiking. She has a passion for humanitarian work and
volunteers with Bright Futures ATL and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Friends would describe me as
upbeat, bubbly, life of the party,
social butterfly, humanitarian, and
very spontaneous. I wake trying
to decide if I want to book a flight
to an island or drive to Charlotte
for dinner.
Why did you join ASC?
I joined ASC after seeing the pool
party invitation. It looked like a
great organization and I am always
up for meeting new, inspiring
people. Since joining, I was looking
for church and looking to volunteer
and because of the group, I found
Buckhead Church and started
volunteering with the singles
gatherings they offer. I have met
some amazing women that I am so
grateful to know.
