What is one characteristic that you believe every leader should possess ? Self Awareness is having a clear perception of your personality , including strengths , weaknesses , thoughts , beliefs , motivation , and emotions . Self Awareness allows you to understand other people , how they perceive you , your attitude and your responses to them in the moment . It is essential to leadership . It helps you get better , because you know how well you currently are doing . It helps you make the right decisions , because you know your blind spots . It helps you do great work , because you remember past mistakes and address them .
Which is most important to ASC , in your eyes — mission , core values or vision ? Our mission drives everything we do and breathes life into ASC .
How will you ensure ASC and its activities are aligned with our “ core values ”? The biggest challenge facing ASC is ensuring our brand reflects our mission and values . Our Brand Ambassadors were handpicked because of they embody our mission and core values . With them at the forefront of our events , we will ensure success in this area . We understand with such a large group of women ,
sometimes our message may get lost in translation . We look to the Brand Ambassadors to reiterate our core values every opportunity they get .
What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as a leader ? Being transparent is a powerful thing . By maintaining an open door policy with Ash , Eleni , the Brand Ambassadors and ASC members , I hope to encourage openness and honesty and continue to build on the safe environment the ASC co-founders have created for us .
We want to learn more about you . What brings you the greatest joy ? Creating change for the better . Change is the only constant . It is with this in mind that we can allow ourselves to perpetuate good , resulting in a change for the better .
Where do you draw inspiration from for your work ? Philanthropy . Something is awakened inside of you when you become the cause of someone ’ s smile .
