Long - lean - fit Fairly new to Atlanta , Pink Barre has made a presence with its welcoming studios and community of women . Presented clearly by their “ pink ” title , the classes are designed specifically for women and their goals as classes are a barre-based , total body workout . The exercises incorporate various styles such as ballet , yoga , and Pilates as well as the use of a ballet barre . Much like the body of a long and lean ballerina , the exercises are designed to tone your body including your arms , thighs , seat and core . The low-impact movements are gentle on your body and joints , and are a great option for pregnant women , women who are recovering from an injury , or anyone looking to get started with a new workout . The instructors work with clients on a more personal level , and often know their clients by name as they walk in the door . What makes Pink Barre stand out is its environment of sincerity and support , and it serves as a place for women of all fitness levels to feel comfortable as they work out . Clients are also recognized for their achievements and goals , and are given a pink tutu to wear when they reach the 100-sclass goal ! Pink Barre is located all over the Atlanta area , with locations in Buckhead , Virginia Highlands , Emory Pointe , Sandy Springs & Lake Lanier .
