Public Health Nurse services include:
Immunization:
In BC, vaccinations are offered free of charge to protect children
from 12 different diseases.
Vaccines in the first two years are given at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 mo.
Immunization is a cornerstone of health protection.

Providing health information and screening (Including development, health
and safety)
Referral and resources for nutrition, parenting, healthy lifestyles.
Baby Talk:
An information session on a variety of health topics (Language
development, infant sleep, nutrition and first foods). Call for dates,
location and information.
