Lacoste debuts first concept store in SEA
A personalised embroidery workshop is available in the store to offer customisation for consumers who want to personalise their Lacoste polos with their initials.
FRENCH brand Lacoste recently opened a new store at Raffles City Shopping Centre in Singapore featuring its latest concept:“ Le Club”. A first in South-east Asia, the company said the new concept reflects the synthesis of the brand and its creator René Lacoste in one location: the club.
The 1,873sqf space is reminiscent of a tennis court with vintage design elements in line with the brand’ s heritage. These elements are juxtaposed against natural wood that gives the store a brightness which lets light in. The fitting rooms are also designed to look like locker rooms.
The store offers a complete range of apparel, leather goods, fragrances and footwear. It features the polo wall which showcases Lacoste’ s iconic L. 12.12 polo shirts in its full colour range, including the newly launched Paris Polo which is inspired by a dress shirt but created with the freedom and comfort of a polo.
This store will also carry runway collections and special collections including the 85th anniversary collection. A personalised embroidery workshop was also built into the store to offer customisation option for consumers who want to personalise their Lacoste polos with their initials.
The new concept is part of the brand’ s strategy to create a stronger brand identity and to strengthen the brand’ s premium status throughout its global markets. ra
