MuleSoft powers Lane Crawford ’ s digital shopping experience

SOFTWARE company MuleSoft recently announced that Asia ’ s luxury department store Lane Crawford has selected MuleSoft ’ s Anypoint Platform to power its industry-leading omni-channel customer experience .
To continue to advance the omnichannel experience Lane Crawford pioneered in Greater China , the company selected MuleSoft ’ s Anypoint Platform to launch its first mobile shopping app . With MuleSoft ’ s full lifecycle application programming interface ( API ) management capabilities , Lane Crawford built an API integration layer to expose access to the customer relationship management ( CRM ) and e-commerce applications . Exposing these systems through APIs enabled Lane Crawford to create a data-as-a-service platform to orchestrate 360-degree views of customers and inventory , such as up-todate loyalty balances and shopping history . The same APIs are leveraged across digital channels including their new mobile app , website , and WeChat , one of China ’ s most popular text and voice messaging apps .

Consentium raises additional US $ 10m to build ’ first-of-its-kind ‘ fintech chat app

ASIA ’ S first multi-digital currency and group monetisation chat application announced last month that it has raised a total of US $ 20 million after the latest round of its private sale . This follows a previous raise of US $ 10 million which was completed in March this year .
“ Consentium is re-defining what a mobile chat app does . Not only can our users communicate with friends , families and people in their networks , but also uniquely monetise their in-app experiences . We are immensely pleased with follow-on funding into Consentium which demonstrates a healthy investment appetite from investors to build our vision of a fintech and community first chat app ,” said Hal Bame , co-founder of Consentium .
In March this year , Consentium announced its partnership with the security firm ThothTrust to manage the overall security for Consentium , mainly focused on wallet encryption methods . Through its Customisable Secure Cryptography ( CSC ) product , ThothTrust provides a consultation and customisation service to secure the company ’ s critical crypto assets . The secure hardware service stores , processes and executes cryptocurrency transactions for Consentium and its users . Secure identification is required for users to access these services .
Speaking to Retail Asia , Bame added : “ As Consentium grows to be the platform for communities you may imagine people from different places but of similar interest will be on the platform for one sole purpose — to share more insights about their topic of interest . With the reach to all these communities , shops will be easily searchable and shared within the platform .
