Research the company
What to wear?
“Start by looking on the
website to find out what
the company does, what’s
important and its future
goals and plans.”
“If you’re not sure what
the dress code is, it’s
perfectly acceptable to ask.
If you’re not sure then go
for the smart option. Even
if fashion’s not your thing,
plan your outfit the day
before. And yes, you’ll need
to get the iron out.”
Give eye contact

Make it a two-way
process
“It’s your chance to learn
about the role and see
whether you’ll enjoy
the job if you’re offered

enthusiastic and interested
which is a bonus.”
Be on time

“If the interview is at the
company’s offices (most

map won’t do any harm (if
you recycle the paper), but
being late will.”
“There’s nothing worse
that being desperate for
the toilet mid-interview.
You don’t want to appear
impatient. It’s also a good
chance to take a few deep
breaths.”
