23     Conclusion As  a  necessary  part  of  the  learning  process,  I  made  a  conclusion  to  reflect  on  my   experience  here  in  Microcampus.   Overall,  I  have  been  so  lucky  to  have  a  chance  to  come  on  the   Microcampus  trip.  I  have  learned  so  much,  and  now  can  see  beyond   the  pollution  of  Shanghai  to  see  a  greater  picture  of  China.  The  people   that  I  have  met  throughout  my  journey  have  been  amazing,  helping   me  in  any  way  they  could.     Throughout  this  trip,  I  have  also  changed  as  a  person.  I  have  learned   to  look  more  deeply  at  a  society  and  analyze  the  way  that  it  works.  I   have  more  of  an  appreciation  for  arts  and  culture,  as  well  as  an   understanding  of  China’s  recent  history.     What  I  have  learned  from  this  experience  is  to  take  any  opportunity   that  would  leave  you  as  a  better  person,  or  the  place  that  you  go  as  a   better  place.  Throughout  the  trip,  one  of  the  big  themes  that  we  have   had  for  everything  that  we  do  is  positive  impact.  This  means  that   everything  we  do  impacts  the  society  in  a  good  way,  or  not  at  all.     Not  only  has  Microcampus  opened  my  eyes  to  the  world  around  me,   but  also  given  me  a  lens  to  look  at  it  through.  The  lens  that  everything   can  be  interesting  if  you  look  deep  enough.    To  take  every  opportunity   that  presents  itself,  and  to  analyze  your  own  actions  to  see  what   impact  they  have  on  the  community  around  you.     To  anybody  considering  whether  or  not  to  go  on  Microcampus,  or   take  any  opportunity  for  that  matter,  do  it.  You  will  learn  something   about  this  world,  and  even  if  you  think  you  did  not,  you  will  learn   something  about  yourself.
