Nasal Cavity: Space above and behind the nose, it's made of cartilage and bone. Divided into 2 by a cartilaginous septum

Pharynx: It's located behind the nasal cavity and above the larynx. It has a funnel shape and it's a small muscular tube. The pharynx connects the larynx and the esophagus.

Epiglottis: It's a flap of cartilage that covers the trachea

Larynx: Connects the pharynx and the trachea, it's made of cartilage and muscle. It consists of two pairs of membranes and containes vocal cords. The larynx is situated in the neck of mamals

Trachea: It's a tubular passageway that is 12 cm long and 2 cm width. It had C-shaped rings of cartilage within its walls to keep the trachea open. It divides at the end into the bronchi.

ANATOMY
