Chai Tea silK road area YOU’LL NEED MAKE IT 6 cups water 1. combine water, tea, cardamom pods and fennel seeds into large saucepan and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes 6 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea leaves 6 cardamom pods 1½ teaspoons fennel seeds 2. add milk and simmer for an additional two minutes 3 cups milk 3. strain tea into cups and add sugar or honey sugar or honey (to taste) Serves 6 resonate · issue 28 · page 11
