(06) This Conference calls on the GFTU to; • ontinue its active support for ‘Choose Youth’, the unprecedented alliance of youth C organisations, to defend youth services and youth workers jobs, underpinned by the recently revised professional national terms & conditions (JNC) and to continue to support the campaign for a statutory Youth Service. • ontinue its work on opposing the Government’s unnecessary spending cuts that C are leading to the dismantling of our youth services. • ork with Unite and its Community and Youth Work Membership and other W organisations in arguing for the positive contribution, benefits and cost effectiveness of youth services as a preventative public service.
