Dirk matriculated at DF Malan High School
in Bellville and then joined the Permanent
Force as an Infantry soldier. His career
has developed from a military background
(18 years in the SANDF), through to
marketing, media and retail, and then
into general management and various
leadership roles (including senior General
Manager of Print24 and CEO of the Van
Schaik Group) with board level reporting
at Media24 for the next 16 Years.
In 2012, Dirk decided to exit the corporate
world and has since been active in the
community management environment as
Estate Manager at the Arabella Country
Estate.
