ON THE JOB
CORPORAL ADRIAN SIMPSON * AUTHOR / RAF POLICE
In my civilian life I am a full-time student studying Creative Writing ( BA Hons ) at the University of Gloucestershire , and I am a self-published author of fiction novels .
In my military role I am an RAF Police noncommissioned officer based at 605 ( County of Warwick ) Squadron .
I ’ ve got so much out of the Reserves : opportunities and experiences that I would never have had otherwise . In the past three years I have represented the RAF in snowboarding , rock climbing and field gun . I attended Exercise Winter March in Norway , I was involved in the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall and at the Cenotaph in London , and I have travelled all over the world in my Air Transport Security Role .
