MSK Matters ?

f you ’ ve not already had a chance to read one of the Musculoskeletal
Matters Bulletins - great news , they are now online ! Just go to www . keele . ac . uk / pchs / newsandevents / bulletins . Since 2009 , the Research Institute has been working in collaboration with Arthritis Research UK to produce a ‘ bulletin ’ which focuses on different aspects of musculoskeletal problems in primary care , with the aim to inform General Practitioners , Primary Care teams , Teachers , Policy Makers and Patients about MSK problems in practice . Our very own Robert Taylor , PPIE volunteer , sits on the editorial board for MSK Matters and ensures that the bulletins are understandable and informative for patients . Data sources for each bulletin include ; The Consultations in Primary Care Archive ( CiPCA ); a high quality general practice consultation database containing consultation information from 14 practices from the Keele GP Research Partnership ; Epidemiological studies and trials from the Keele Research Centre ; External research studies .
