Almost all households experiencing family violence in 2014 indicated that it was affecting their capacity to meet their household’s
basic needs (93.1%), which is an increase of 28% compared to 2010. These households constituted approximately 15% of all
households surveyed. In particular, over half of the respondents (55.8%) indicated they were frequently unable to meet their
household’s basic needs.
