Histopathology Workshop

This workshop covered the key aspects of histopathology using laboratory animal (mouse) and human tissue histology
images. Several techniques and skills were introduced to understand anatomical components and the morphology,
in particular, skin, liver, spleen, kidney and lung tissues. The histopathological evaluation/assessment was discussed
during lectures and hands-on sessions. Participants were also introduced to the Bioimaging facilities at BRIMS and
Medical Anatomy and Pathology E-Learning (MAPEL) laboratory in Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences
to get an appropriate training of microscope imaging and the new image analyser system for histopathology.
