The Queen City of the South, Cebu may not be the seat of our government’ s capital, but its strategic location makes it the perfect place for people from Luzon and Mindanao to meet half-way. It is also a gateway to the many other beautiful destinations our country has to offer. Carlos is one of its nearest neighbors. Mindanao region can also be accessed through shipping lines that operate for travel to Cagayan de Oro, Surigao and General Santos City. Coming from Manila, it’ s just a 55-minute plane ride while a little more than an hour if you’ re coming from Davao region.

churches and landmarks, a glorious past and a thriving future.
A few days in Cebu would not be enough to visit all the different sites from museums, churches, art galleries, cultural landmarks and its magnificent islands. But to a food lover like me, the easiest way to capture the region’ s art, history, and flair is to taste their food. So let the epicurean in each of us savor a gastronomic journey as we dive into the different flavors the island has to offer.
