Contraceptives
Naturally,
humans
tend
to
reproduce.
However,
there
is
a
serious
threat
going
on
right
now
that
is
threatening
humans.
This
menace
is
that
people
are
having
sexual
activity
without
knowledge
of
the
different
risks
they
are
taking.
This
has
many
negative
repercussions
as
people
are
getting
diseases
that
can
be
permanent.
Some
of
the
most
common
diseases
are
Chlamydia
infections,
Gonorrhea,
Genital
herpes,
HIV/AIDS,
HPV,
Syphilis,
Trichomoniasis,
and
many
others.
All
this
is
happening
because
people
have
no
knowledge
of
what
they
are
getting
exposed
to.
It
seems
as
if
there
could
be
no
stopping
to
it,
but
actually
there
are
many
different
methods
that
can
be
used
to
prevent
the
terrible
outcome
of
having
sexual
contact
with
an
infected
being.
This
“preventive”
methods
are
called
Contraceptives.
Contraceptive
methods
are
used
for
2
different
things.
The
first
one
is
to
allow
having
sex
with
little
or
no
risk
of
getting
pregnant,
and
the
second
one
which
is
the
one
that
we
are
going
to
focus
which
is
to
prevent
transmition
of
diseases.
There
are
different
types
of
contraceptive
methods
which
include
the
pill,
the
male
condom,
vasectomy,
female
sterilization
and
many
others.
Every
type
has
a
different
functions
different
and
have
the
effectiveness
percent
varies
depending
on
the
type
of
contraceptive
used.
Here
is
a
chart
that
contains
its
“popularity”
percent
as
well
as
the
effectiveness
percent.
This
chart
contains
the
information
of
the
4
methods
that
most
people
use.
