Using a service and software
There are several ways in which a service can be combined with software:
Firstly, if using either type of service, the software could be the conduit by which trades (or just off venue trades) get
to the service. This allows the service to act as the “destination” for REMIT but for the software to route trades to
their destination for other rules. It also allows the software to collect data from across the enterprise.
Alternatively, one can make use of a service that aggregates OMP data to feed software, which then further enriches
it, and then routes the software to the appropriate destination.
