The 1975 Environmental Report
The weather information in the 1975 report was not collected on Kiawah Island.

Weather Systems

Kiawah is influenced greatly by frontal systems propagating across the U. S.
from west to east.
Summertime high pressure along the eastern seaboard dominates Kiawah
weather with winds blowing in a southerly direction.
