1 ) People like both virtual and in-person events . Participants report high levels of satisfaction with both in-person and virtual events . Reports of being “ extremely satisfied ” were higher among in-person event participants . However , given the satisfaction levels reported for virtual events and the greater number of participants in online vs in-person programs reported by states , the expanded ‘ reach ’ of virtual events may translate to greater gross benefits .
