sex ever had by six of Melbourne’s senior citizens over the
age of 65.
But all the talk about sex is just an excuse to share
something extraordinary: the older people get, the more
courageous we are to accept and share our vulnerabilities.
Across five performances audiences delighted in hearing
a sexual history of Melburnians, stories of lives well lived
and the enduring hardship, tragedy and understanding
that is universal and constant.
The show busted taboos and affirms the role of Melbourne
Festival in showcasing the stories of those who are not
often heard.
