Melbourne loved House of Mirrors so much, it was extended for four weeks after the Festival. The event introduced new audiences to Melbourne Festival and showcased their hunger for engaging arts experiences. 43% of people think the arts are too expensive  1 . Melbourne Festival has a mandate to present low-cost programming that engages with the widest possible audience and shift this perception.
