SUPPORTER HIGHLIGHTS
As always Melbourne Festival
partnered with key government
and corporate organisations in
2015. Without these partnerships,
the Festival would simply not be
possible.
In particular the State Government of
Victoria’s investment through Creative
Victoria as Melbourne Festival’s Principal
Public Partner and Tourism Victoria, enabling
Melbourne Festival to continue to thrive into
its 30th year. City of Melbourne supported
the free programming including the beautiful
and culturally vital opening ceremony,
TANDERRUM.
For the third year, China Southern Airlines
presented The Annual China Southern
Airlines Concert in the Sidney Myer
Music Bowl with the incredibly popular
collaboration between DJ duo Flight Facilities
and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
playing to over 12,000 fans. Following
the outstanding ticket sales, Fed Square
partnered with Melbourne Festival to present
a free live stream of the concert for those
that missed out on tickets to the sold-out gig.
As the Naming Rights Partner to the most
popular Festival destination, Foxtel enables
Melbourne Festival to once again provide a
home for Festival audiences to relax, catch
a gig, enjoy a meal or dance the night away
with the Foxtel Festival Hub.

UnionPay International joined Melbourne
Festival for the first time as Official Payment
Partner, supporting three productions
representing the very best of dance, theatre
and contemporary music. The Melbourne
Art Trams project was a fantastic example
of what collaboration between creative,
government and corporate organisations can
achieve with the third year of partnership
between Melbourne Festival, Creative
Victoria and Yarra Trams.
KIRIN Beer and Cider returned with
KIRIN Bit.Fall at the Foxtel Festival Hub, a
captivating water installation delivering
messages via Twitter and SMS. Guests were
offered a chance to sample KIRIN Beer and
Cider, paired with free canapes from Sake
Restaurant. Mojo Winemakers also continued
their partnership with the Foxtel Festival Hub
venue and invited audiences to sample their
range whilst sparking imagination through
the Colour My Mojo activation. Catalina
Sounds was the generous supplier of wines
to all special events allowing guest to enjoy
some of New Zealand’s finest.
