a divorce, a move from the east coast to Renton, a new marriage, a new family, and a new baby born with a cleft lip and palate. All of those changes helped clarify my life in so many ways: I was making big decisions and with each decision, I felt more like the me I was supposed to be. Time with my family, helping others, doing good, and watching my baby grow up became the most important things to me. In years past, I had this amazing passion for my full time work of project management, but all of these changes in my personal life changed my outlook in a profound way. I wanted more time with my family, on my terms, and I wanted a way to give back while exercising my creative side. While I am still working full time, this career path will likely allow me to cut back on those hours and focus on my family more. immediately. I am so glad that I did! It has proved to be challenging and incredibly fun. RW: What was the moment that you decided to pursue this business? RW: What about on a personal level? Katie: I have always loved accessories and how I feel when I am put together. Plus, they are the only thing that always fits. Looking for a little something for me, post baby, I stumbled across Chloe + Isabel online. After putting one of everything in my cart and then wish list, I realized that maybe my passion for jewelry could be a business opportunity that would provide some creative fulfillment that my full time job could not offer.
