Introducing our nationally accredited Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation ( ICR ) Program , a medically supervised exercise and lifestyle medicine initiative . Since its inception in 2016 , our program has been a pioneer in the region and a leading force on the west coast , prioritizing excellence and consistently achieving one of the highest graduation rates among all Pritikin-certified ICR programs nationwide .

The ICR Program ’ s comprehensive approach to cardiac rehabilitation focuses on modifiable risk factors that can impact heart disease and other chronic conditions . Unlike traditional cardiac rehab which focuses on exercise alone , our ICR Program centers around three key pillars :

• Exercise : Technician-monitored , safe cardiovascular conditioning , strength training and flexibility .
• Nutrition : Healthy eating insights by a registered dietician through hands-on cooking classes and educational seminars .
• Stress management : Skills developed for managing stress and achieving mental and emotional well-being .
The 12-week program consists of 36 group exercise and education sessions . Our expert team creates individualized treatment plans to provide the support heart patients need to make lasting lifestyle changes . The program is covered by Medicare and many other insurance plans for patients with an approved cardiac diagnosis .
Heart Healthy Results
Patients have credited the Heart Healthy Program for helping them make lasting lifestyle changes that allow them to lead healthier lives . Studies show for those completing the program and following its recommendations , they reduce their chance of a future heart even by 50 % or more .
