PRIORITY 1: MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health was identified as the highest priority health need in the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment. Community input and data highlighted barriers to behavioral healthcare, including provider shortages, long wait times, affordability and difficulty navigating services, as well as concerns related to youth mental health, suicide prevention, social isolation and stigma. Renown Health will work with community partners to improve access, strengthen prevention and early intervention, and improve behavioral health outcomes across Northern Nevada.
