The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ( NICU ) will not only be in a newly-constructed space but will increase its capacity from 39 to 49 bassinets
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit ( PICU ) is also a newly-constructed space and will increase capacity from 11 to 16 private patient and family rooms
When families come to us , they are going through one of the most difficult times in their lives . This new NICU / PICU means so much for those families because it provides an uplifting environment with plenty of privacy and the best technology available . The spaces allow families to focus on their kids while we focus on helping them get better.
