The experience begins with a pair of lightweight viewing glasses. As the outside world fades, a prehistoric landscape made from light takes its place.
Unlike images on a traditional screen, the holograms create depth and can be viewed from multiple angles. Dinosaurs appear around, above and even below visitors. One may seem to emerge from beyond a wall, while another towers overhead. Immersive sound and dramatic visual effects add to the atmosphere, making each new space feel like a discovery.

Guests choose their hologram experience when booking, then enter in
small groups and move through a timed journey lasting approximately 50 minutes to one hour.
Dinosaurs are only one of the featured adventures. Hologram Zoo Vancouver’ s rotating catalogue also includes experiences inspired by Africa, Australia, Asia, the underwater world, the Arctic and space, along with seasonal Halloween and Christmas offerings. With different shows appearing throughout the year, there is always something new to explore.
Before leaving, visitors can create themed photos and videos using the attraction’ s green-screen experience. The digital keepsakes can be downloaded directly to a phone, and each ticket includes a projectogram holographic souvenir.
There is a thoughtful purpose behind the attraction as well. No animals are held in captivity, and a portion of each ticket supports a wildlife or conservation charity. Visitors receive a token and can vote for one of the featured organizations, helping decide where that month’ s donation will go.
