Entrance hallways are the first impression of your home so make a dramatic statement with bold, industrial choices to wow your visitors! I am currently in love with black trim on doors and windows and carrying that feeling into the home makes it even more exciting! I choose a great wallpaper pattern for the walls with a polished concrete for the floors. If room allows, I would include a light grey upholstered bench with a few throw pillows and a hall runner to add a touch of softness to the space. A mirror is a must for an entrance hall, for those last minute make-up and hair checks on the way out the door and of course, great lighting! I included a dramatic black pendant with a touch of metallic glam to finish the look. GET FULL SOURCES ON CANADIANHOMETRENDS. COM

A small powder room is a great place to add drama and personality. This design board is inspired by a powder room I recently completed for a client featuring dark, dramatic walls covered in a geometric digital print and finished with marble and black tile floors, black moldings and a black ceiling. The digital print used for the wall is a textured metallic with a fabriclike appearance for a very unique look that also reflects light. Chrome and mirrored surfaces add extra light and glamour to the space while the use of marble adds sophistication and luxury. To finish the space, I added fun accessories like a dog head toilet paper holder and a framed black and white sketch of a favorite spot in the city.

For this design board, I wanted to show a classic industrial look with a modern twist. The Splendour Brick Wall wallpaper creates that " brick on the wall " era look. I chose a chandelier with a rustic, traditional style and a table with a strong industrial feel and then brought in modern chairs, lux fabrics and gold details to give the room an updated style with plenty of sophistication!
