FERNANDA SIORDIA AND ERNESTO NAVARRO
The students rushed to their friends and started talking to decide
their project topic. Renova the Rabbit was alone, abandoned on the
green tile in the middle of the rainbow checkered carpet. Francisco
scooted to Renova with a question in mind but Renova quickly turned
around, avoiding conversation.
He was a fox. Renova had heard rumors that foxes were
dangerous. They had been known to play tricks on rabbits. He had
never seen a fox do anything bad, but his parents had told him enough
stories to scare him. Renova mumbled to himself, “I have to go.”
