Like any good design , this renovation has been thoughtfully planned to create the perfect balance between form and function ! The main floor is designed to create a family atmosphere . The kitchen has been opened up to the living room to create a seamless connection while maintaining the integrity of the original classic home . The open layout brings everyone together and provides space for both casual gatherings and more elevated dining experiences . Doubling the light fixtures over the dining table adds elegance and drama to the space .
In the living room , the original wood-burning fireplace was replaced with a built-in design inspired by the homeowners love of both books and entertainment . The " Frame " TV over the fireplace blends into the room during gatherings , making the room perfect for hosting events or enjoying a movie night !
To create a cohesive feel , the flooring on the second level was replaced to match the main floor . In the primary suite , the bed , bedding , floating nightstands and crystal lamps were carefully selected to blend the homeowner ' s relaxed style with the classic architectural elements of the home .
On the third floor , a seating area with skylights has become a favorite hangout spot . The comfortable sofa and abundant natural light make it an enjoyable space to take work breaks from the home office .
