Home to a growing young family , this house needed an update ! With only 6 months until a new little one joined the family , time was of the essence for this project . The goal was to create a transitional , functional , farmhouse-style home that could grow with their family over the coming years . The renovation included the whole home , focusing on the kitchen , laundry room , primary suite with ensuite , and nursery with ensuite . The priority in the space was the kitchen which needed to accommodate the homeowners ' love of cooking and need for storage . The primary bedroom is often the last space to get a redo . The homeowner was living with outdated furniture and had little function . We added gorgeous fabric , with layers of colors and textures . Next was a striking ‘ built-in , to house a TV and fireplace , and gave them lots of storage as well as comfortable seating just for them .
